The two things I love most about working with startups are: Discovery - finding new ideas and amazing teams that I believe in; and Funding - ensuring that capital finds a great home with the right entrepreneurs.

My job now is to find the most promising startups and make their financial stories compelling and easy to understand. Early-stage funding deals aren’t easy for founders or investors. Founders are rarely financial experts and today’s Investors have bottomless deal pipelines to sort and evaluate. I help bridge the gap between the two sides.

My career has had many twists and turns but the constants have been a love of finance and a desire to build. I have raised money for my own startup as a CFO and launched a venture capital firm. I’ve crafted angel deals for $25k, helped negotiate venture deals for millions of dollars, and created partnerships between pre-revenue startups and multinational corporations. My experience has taken me to every corner of the capital markets: 10 years in hedge funds, angel deals, venture capital, SME acquisitions, project finance based expansion plans, and so on. 

All very different deals but always about connecting great ideas with the necessary capital.
